Final year student who criticized President Nana Addo apologizes

The final year Student who earlier criticized President Nana Addo has eventually apologized.

Recently, a video went viral on social media of a final-year student from Sekondi College, Western Region, criticizing Ghana ‘s president, H.E. Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo, on strict monitoring in the exam hall.

A lot of mixed reaction was generated by the video with some Ghanaians blasting the student for using derogatory language on the President.

The student known as Cobinnah has finally apologised to the President for using such words on the country’s leader in a viral video.

He said that he did not know what came on him to record the video in order to offend the President. He also said that after the video went viral he was not himself.

He said;

“I’m so sorry for what I’ve done, I didn’t know what came up to me to do this video. I call on the Ministry of Education, the Chancellor, the school authorities to find a place to forgive me in their hearts.

He then knelt down to apologize to the people affected, and to the President himself.

I regret my actions. And I promise all that this will Never happen again. Thanks so much! ” he added.
