Shiites clashes with Police as two ‘Shehu’ die, scores injured in Kaduna

Sheik Ibrahim Zakzaky ‘s violent clash between Shiites led the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and on Sunday the police reported two in Kaduna.

Many other files suffered injuries, even as shops closed as city dwellers fled down Jos Road and neighboring areas in Kaduna ‘s heart for safety.

When approached, the Police said they were still awaiting for progress details and would return.

“They defied the order. The Government of Kaduna State had since outlawed the party and banned all forms of protest in the State.

“Two of the Shehu were murdered and several others were wounded during the clash.”

The PPRO of Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Muhammad Jalige said, could not meet him on the incident,

He said; “I called the area responsible DPO, he did not select, maybe he was busy containing the situation. But I will contact you as soon as I get info on the incident.
